Dr. Furrukh Jabbar is the founder of North Texas Oncologic & Complex Surgery Associates and a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeon in Denton County and Collin County. Recognized for his compassionate, educational approach, Dr. Jabbar believes that patient education is the foundation of successful surgical outcomes.

Following his general surgery residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, Dr. Jabbar completed an advanced fellowship in Hepatobiliary & Foregut Surgery and Advanced GI Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Digestive Health Institute, AdventHealth Tampa. He serves as active teaching faculty for the General Surgery Residency Program at Medical City Denton.

No machine performs surgery independently. Sitting at an adjacent console, Dr. Jabbar views the operating field in magnified 3D and directly guides the system, the robotic arms translate his hand movements into real-time instrument movements.
